My car started overheating. I saw a leak coming from the bottom so I took it to Jiffy lube to get an oil change and they told me it was the tank reservoir that needed to be replaced, but I said no because it was way too expensive. I took it to a different shop and they told me the same thing. They replaced my coolant tank, but it still leaked the coolant only this time it leaked more than before. I cannot drive for more than half a mile or else it starts overheating and the coolant is completely gone. Can some one please help?

So what did they say when you took it back with the same problem you had the first time?

I have not taken it back because I do not trust them anymore. If something else was wrong with it why did they not tell me? They did show the old part and it was cracked but I just do not trust that shop anymore, plus they told me if it is something else then they will have to charge me to fix the other problem.

Things do unexpectably happen.

Things may get overlooked.

Maybe you owe them the chance to get it right (at no charge)?

Should they decide more is to be done and at a charge, you can back out of the situation and go else where. Insist that nothing is to be done until you approve it.

Do you have another shop in mind?
