The truck started to overheat when I shut it off. Coming out of the overflow tube, and sometimes out of the cap as well. So I replaced the thermostat and it still does it. So the next thing I was going to do is the water pump. But then I read some things that mentioned it could be the fan clutch, or radiator. It does not leak anywhere until it gets hot. Then it's all over the ground from the cap and overflow line. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Good afternoon,

The first thing I would do is replace the cap. The cap sounds like it is releasing pressure when you turn it off.

Does it run hot while running?
