Van keeps overheating. Had mechanic to flush radiator/engine and changed hoses. Still the same problem. Van used Dex coolant but turns rusty and a Little thick. Any suggestions on what it could be? Please help me.

have it pressure checked for leaks may be ahead gasket. If Dex cool does not get filled enough and get air it will clog passages in block and head. I am assuming everything has been checked in rest of system.

It did this last year but this one mechanic did let air out from somewhere and it did fine up until now. Problem went away for a year.

F pressure check does not show anything when engine is warm/hot with engine off disconnect fans so they wont start and feel radiator in several places with hand. if you feel any cold spots the radiator is not good and needs replacing. it should feel warm all over.
