I fixed the head gasket changed water pump, thermostat, and tensioner. Now I do not know if it is the radiator or the cap. If we leave the cap a little loose it seems okay, but if the cap is tight the hoses get tight and overheats. The radiator makes a loud gurgle popping sound when pressure builds. Please help at wits end.

Get the radiator core cleaned and fit a new cap regardless, also test that the thermostat is working, boil it up in a pot of water on the stove, use a thermometer and watch it open at the correct temperature, do not drink the soup it makes as it will taste awful. Lol
