The car loses coolant over a couple of days and the starts running hot. I took it to a mechanic and he pressure tested it and tested the exhaust for coolant. He said it held pressure and nothing was wrong with it. Well after it continued to do this, i changed the water pump and the upper hose assembly and it still acts the same. Any ideas?

The first thing I would do is get some coolant dye and put it in the coolant. if there is a leak, it will turn the area very bright green.
Does the engine smoke out the tailpipe?
