I changed the radiator because of a leak after replacement ran the vehicle for 45 minutes no problems. It's driven to work the next morning and it overheats before making it to work about 10 miles out and it is towed back to the house. come to find out the heat stopped working a few days prior to changing radiator. so, I replaced the thermostat but still overheats and no heat. I tried to bleed the cooling system when I noticed there is no coolant flow from heater core bleed and return line radiator still cool to the touch while engine piping hot. any Ideas?

Hi,

It sounds like you still have air in the system. These vehicles require a specific procedure to be done to refill and bleed the system.

Take a look at pics 1 and 2 below. Let me know if that is how you refilled the system to bleed air from the coolant.

I will watch for your reply

Take care,

Joe
