I was accelerating my motor trying to get unstuck in the snow and the engine overheated. I removed the thermostat and the engine is still overheating. Within about 10 minutes of driving. The water is overheating the reservoir gets low but I don't see any signs of busted hoses or where the water is going.

Hi,

If the engine was overheated prior to this happening, we need to make sure it isn't related to a bad head gasket. You indicated you don't know where the coolant is going, so we need to check.

Here is a link that explains how to check for a bad head gasket. Do the things it indicates and let me know the results.

Let me know what you find or if you have other questions.

Take care and God Bless,

Joe
