Over heating. Filled radiator and burped with spill free funnel. Continue to get bubbles after several 'burps'. Car will eventually overheat and lose heat in the vents. Fan kicks in fine. Suspecting it is a head gasket. Wondering if I should get a combustion leak tester?

Have you checked your upper and lower radiator hoses to see if one is colder then the other? If so then you may have a faulty thermostat. Also replace the expansion tank cap? When defective it will cause an over heat condition. If all is good and the fans kick on, then do a block test.
