Hello, I'm Danny.

The first thing I would check is the radiator fan relay. It is located under the hood in the junction box. Here is a tutorial showing how to test a relay:

I've attached pictures below of the relay location on your car and circled in red. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.

G, day Danny L, thanks for the prompt reply. I have tried to bridge the fan switch towards the rear of the motor and did hear the relay click on and both fans turned on, however after replacing that switch at the rear still overheats. Would you try the timer switch next or the computer? Just not sure what to do and really appreciate your time and efforts. Thanks

Hi,

I noticed it has been a few days since we heard from you or made contact. Have you made any progress? Also, I read through your reply and noted that the fans turned on when you jumped them at the relay. When the vehicle overheated again, were the fans running?

Let us know.

Joe

Hello again.

It possible you might have a faulty or failing coolant temperature sensor that is not sending a proper signal to turn the fans on. Here is a tutorial showing how to replace a coolant temperature sensor:

I've attached a picture below of its location. Keep us updated as to what you find out. Hope this helps and thanks again for using 2CarPros.
