Overheating?

My car started to overheat yesterday and then the heat stopped working as well.

You are most likely low on engine coolant. Check that first. If it got low that quickly, check for leaks.

If you look below, I attached an exploded view of the radiator and cooling system. When the engine is cold, remove the radiator cap and check the coolant level.
