Hello my name is Dave.
First question I have is, if it's overheating under all conditions or just when stopped/going slow? If it's overheating at low to no speed conditions I would check and see if the cooling fans are coming on. The other thing you have to be sure of is that you have purged the cooling system of all air, I would recommend going ahead and flushing the system as this is a commonly overlooked cooling system problem and is just good maintenance. I have attached a link to our tutorial on flushing the cooling system. Also make sure you have a new radiator cap as this too is a commonly overlooked culprit. I hope this leads you to a resolution to your problem if it doesn't please let us know and we will do all we can to help you find the solution. Good luck and thank you for using 2CarPros. https://www.2carpros.com/articles/coolant-flush-and-refill-all-cars
