Overheating after replacing the thermostat?

I had the thermostat replaced on it, the cooling system bled out, and oil changed on it. It still overheats going on the interstate. I don't know what is causing the at this point. I noticed it was bubbling and smoking on top of the engine when I opened the hood.

It sounds like you have a defective thermostat, or it is installed backwards which will make the engine overheat. Here are two guides to help and I have included instructions on how to change the thermostat out:
