I drove the car almost 3 km at 60 mph the car showed me a warning that it was overheating i drove it moderately to get to the side of the road and I and parked it to let it cool. I last change my thermostat and my water pump in 2014. In November 2015 i changed the gearbox oil cooler. What could be the problem?

Hi NYAMBOSE,

Have you checked the coolant level, you may have a leak, also is the fan clutch working. The radiator may have some kind of blockage with that many miles, if the coolant level is full I would see if the cooling fan starts working when the engine comes up to temperature. please let me know what you find.

Best, Ken
