I have an overheating problem. I put in a new thermostat and a flush, checked the heater core and it working. My car only seems to be overheating when the heat is on in my car. Otherwise it runs at normal temperature.

Have cooling system pressure checked for leaks it may be a head gasket problem.

It was pressure checked for leaks. Found a pin hole in the lower radiator hose. Replaced it.

Check radiator for cold spots if you feel any then the radiator is no good it should be warm all over. Do this with car shut off and fans disabled. Then get the chemical tester from auto parts for a head gasket. Also, check radiator cap it may be losing pressure.
