Will not start after overheating

My car over heated and now will not start. The starter kicks on but engine will not crank.

Good morning.

Does the starter make any noise like a clunk?

It could have allowed coolant into the engine and if it does, a liquid cannot be compressed and the engine will not turn.

Remove the plugs and see if the engine will turn.
