While driving slow the engine just shut off, I saw the low level cooling indicator come on a few seconds before. The coolant level is fine. Now when I turn the ignition on the motor does not turn over, but the cooling fan comes on! This never happened before.
I have been using the car with two warning lights that came on recently the first the SRS fault the ESP. I don't think this is the problem. When a engine diagnostic is fitted it just reads error in connection but we have tried with 3 different machines now. The ignition lights appear to be working normally. Any ides why it wont start?

Hi,

Just to confirm, when you turn the key to start, the starter doesn't engage, correct?

If that's the case, how badly was it overheated? Is there a click or any sound when you turn the key to the start position?

Here is a link that explains how to check a starter related issue. See if it helps. Also, let me know specifically what is happening. For example, are there any sounds, is the battery fully charged, or anything you can think of.

Let me know.
