Vehicle overheats only when idling. Replaced water pump, coolant hose, thermostat, radiator, and radiator fan. What else could it be?

Hello,

Typically, when the overheating happens at idle or when the vehicle is not moving, it is due to an inoperative fan.
So, does the cooling fan come on when the car reaches operating temperature?

You stated that you have replaced it, just want to make sure we are on the same page.
Keep in mind that the fan may not come on if the coolant temperature sensor is faulty.

Please let me know what you are experiencing.
Thank you.

I wonder if the grille shutter might not be opening as designed.
This Jeep is equipped with active grille shutters, it is located at the bottom of the grille (see diagram below). The purpose is to keep that area closed to improve fuel efficiency, but open when the engine needs cooling to improve air flow through the radiator.
It is possible that the shutter is stuck closed, due to the actuator being faulty.
So even if the radiator ran turns on in high it is just not getting enough air through.
