Overdrive not working

What will cause overdrive not to work now that it has gotten cold. Any help?

The overdrive solenoid is electrically controlled and if the solenoid is stuck (which often occurs if O/D OFF is seldom used and you attempt to use it.) it would not allow the OD to work.

Check the OD solenoid operations and its wiring to see what is at fault. It could also be due to a faulty on/off switch.
