Hello,
This sounds to me like you have a loose or corroded wire to your battery. Double check the ground wires and their connections. Make sure that they are clean, corrosion free, tight and with good metal to metal contact. 75% of all electrical problems on a vehicle can be associated with bad grounds. Also is your Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) AKA, "check engine light" illuminated? If so can you pull the Direct Trouble Code(s)(DTC)(s) for me. If you are unfamiliar with how to do that I have included a link for you down below:
https://www.2carpros.com/articles/checking-a-service-engine-soon-or-check-engine-light-on-or-flashing
Please go through the guide if you need to and get back to us with what you find out. What we are going to be looking for is a loss of communication is the High Speed Connector Area Network (HSCAN). I have included for you in the diagrams down below a description of your vehicle's power steering including a diagram of the battery relay box.
Thanks,
Alex
