My sisters Jeep will overheat when she drives less then 1/4 mile. then it doesnt drive after that. Wondering if it's a relay or if it's the transmission.

Nvm it doesn't overheat it just shuts off while in drive. Maybe an electrical problem?

She told me that it'll just shut while in drive. We thought it would be the transmission but it goes into drive? No overheating

first thing I would suggest is a crank sensor. it is the most common failure for this issue
