Overheating engine the temperature gauge was all the way hot?

All of a sudden, I noticed the temperature gauge was all the way hot. I pulled over and the radiator cap wasn't hot at all, but the top hose was very hot. I was even able to take the cap off without it spewing.

I did finally see that it was leaking coolant from somewhere, I just can't tell exactly where until I take it all apart.

So, as it is now, I can drive it for the first time of the day about 2 miles before it starts getting hotter than normal, and about 1 to 2 more miles and it gets all the way hot.
