Outside temperature on the dash reads 128 degrees!

The heater blows cold air, but the defrost works fine. I think it is because the computer think it is 128 degrees that it will not warm the car anymore.

because it is an automatic temperature control where you set the temperature, this has to be scanned for codes to see what is causing the problem. Any garage should be able to do it.

Thanks, but i was hoping to avoid the garage, i was hoping it was a fuse.

Hey Mark

Because it is an automatic temperature control, the system references the temperature sensor in the system which sounds like has gone bad. I would start by replacing the sensor first they are not expensive.

Or check the sensor maybe it has fallen down by the air conditioner condenser and is getting the reading from that, here is the location of the sensor.
