Replaced valve body and crushed speed sensor took transfer case off to replace it and the new speed sensor looks different than the old one it clips in but wiggles in and out. I bought another two, but it was the same thing clips are different is it wiggling, okay? Do I need an extra part? Or is it the wiring sensor?

I don't think the transmission has an external input shaft or out shaft sensor, there are included in the valve body.

Description

The vehicle speed signal is sent to the combination meter from the "ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit)" by CAN communication line. The c combination meter then sends a signal to the ECM by CAN communication line.

VEHICLE SPEED SENSOR

Component Description
The ECM receives two vehicle speed sensor signals via CAN communication line. One is sent from combination meter, and the other is from TCM (Transmission control module). The ECM uses these signals for ASCD control.

Here are the transmission wiring diagrams so you can see for yourself. Check out the images (below). Let us know if you need anything else.

The sensor I'm talking about is inside the transmisson you have to take the transfer case and extension housing off to replace it (see pictures output speed sensor highlighted green in the diagram) you feed the wire in where the valve body is and plug it into the valve body.

Can I ask where you got this diagram? I could not find it in Alldata. It looks like you found the sensor, what seems to be the problem? If the new sensor does not fit, you have the wrong sensor.

I got it off my Nissan service manual. Anyway, I knew where the sensor was the replacement sensor clips in, but it moves a tad in and out maybe 2mm the original sensor didn't do that when it clipped in it was tight doesn't move at all. My question is, is the wiggle in and out okay as long as there's power to it or is there a part I don't know about? I've bought 3 sensors that look like the original in the picture but when I receive it it's a different clip as shown in these pictures. Old vs new.

So, the sensor part is the same? It is just the wiring connector that is different? If the connector plugs in and the wiring colors are the same you should be good to go.
