I just need to know where the output speed sensor is located on the transmission. I have searched high and low on the internet and on the truck itself. I cannot locate it. Please help if possible. Thank you.

So, on these trucks they do not use an output speed sensor nor a turbine or input shaft speed sensor on the transmission to monitor the trucks momentum, instead the use the ABS wheel speed sensors and they transfer the data through the CAN to satisfy the compute requirements for various system such as transmission and the cruise control. What kind of problem are you having?

A very large yellow wrench came up on the dash. The truck went into "safe" mode very briefly. Very shortly, the truck returned to normal. Ran diagnostics, the code said "output speed sensor". I had an update done to the control module. Seems to be okay for now. Thank you for your time.
