Hi. My right front outer tie-rod broke off of my car on Friday. It was still attached to the inner tie-rod but completely off of the wheel. My dad knows how to fix it but we have run into a problem. He has gotten the nut loose to remove it, but for some reason the tie-rod will not screw off. Is there something he is doing wrong or is there a way he can get it unscrewed? Any help is greatly appreciated.

It's just corroded on and will have to be forced. Using a couple of pipe wrenches should work.

Thank you. He has been trying that for 3 days. And it won't even budge. He also tried some liquid wrench stuff. Is there anything else he might try that you know of?

An Oxyacetylene torch will help if you got the out tie rod end red hot but it's just mostly brute force.
