The release cable broke and I cannot open the hood

Interior release cable broke under the hood, I cannot open the hood. Is there a way to get it opened ?

Not easily. I would take it to a shop/dealer and let them open it, less likely to damage things that way.

you might be able to spot cable through the grill and reach with extra long needle nose pliers.

Sometimes you can reach from underneath to the hood latch.

Thanks for all of your answers. I got it opened with minimal damage to the grill using long needle nose pliers and a small hook .
