2001 Opel Vectra kickdown problem

When making kickdown and reverse gear for the acceleration to replace gear up again the rpm must far reaches 6000 rpm very fast but it maximum reaches 5,200 rpm so slowly and thus gear up done too late, specially when the gearbox is in sport mode is such that the feet should be removed from the gas pedal to change the gear.

you will need to have the car plugged into a diagnostic computer to locate the cause of the fault .. possibly the VSS (vehicle speed sensor) is faulty .. or have a transmission repair centre look at the vehicle as the transmission is all electronically controlled
