i have an OPEL Vectra 1999 1.8 16v X18XE engine and i seem to have an ECU problem. when the car is cold and hasn't worked like the whole night, it will start perfect and run smooth (maybe a little different but it's ok) but when the engine heats up the engine menagment light comes on and flickers ...then the engine eventually works but when i stop the engine fails to idle and shuts down...then i cant start it again...not until it will be cold again. thank you

start by having the car plugged into a diagnostic computer to retrieve any fault codes stored and repost with full codes .. check fuel pressure is good
