2000 Other Opel Models Difficult starting when cold.

My car is Opel Zafira, diesel engine, computerized. It is difficult to start when cold and a thick grey smoke comes out of the exhaust for few minutes after starting. It easily starts when warm.

check or replace the glowplugs
