1999 Other Opel Models Two Wheel Drive Manual 90000 miles

would the gear box from a 2001 opel corsa fit in place of the gear box from the 1999 model.its the 3 cylinder 1 litre model

if both vehicles are 3 cylinder 1 litre models it should fit
