1989 Other Opel Models Bubbles and smoke

Hi!

My old Opel Omega started to smoke a bit today.

When I went to check the dipstick it had bubbles on it.

The weather here has been quite damp.

Could it be that some condensed water got trapped in the engine or shall I expect something more serious?

have the cylinders compression tested and the cooling system pressure tested !!
