While driving the car will stop, engine still running

While i am driving the car comes to a still stand. has no power but didn't cut out. I have replace the Idle sensor yesterday. it went well until this afternoon it starts doing the same?

When this happens, if you place the vehicle in neutral can you rev the engine? Is there anything that seems to prompt the vehicle into this condition?
