2008 Opel Astra Altenator generator

Hi!
I have an opel astra diesel 2008.
One day I drive from my home to the city and then the car only klick no power to start .
The genartor was burnd. Then 1,5 week after the same problem the the service say that it was the battery.
2 weeks after the same agine drove the car to city and it oly klick agine.
So may questeion is wat is the problem?

the faulty generator could have blown the battery .. and this was the second fault .. if it keeps doing the same, have the repair centre check all the wiring to the generator and battery !!
