2004 Opel Astra Four Wheel Drive Manual 51000 miles

hello i hope someone can help my car keeps playing up the battery keeps dying on me when i get a jump start it goes no problum for a week or more and then dies again i dont know whats wrong plz help

replace the battery .. also have the alternator checked for correct charge output ..
