2002 Opel Astra Clutch release bearing

hi all

could anyone please let me know if its posable to replace the clutch release bareing without repacing the clutch, i know on the old vectras you could just drop a plate from the bellhousing and drop it form there

gearbox has to come out i'm afraid ...would be more cost effective to replace the clutch at the same time !!
