Hi, I had my car fully serviced in July this year and now the timing belt has gone.
Is the timing belt part of the service, the garage knew I had only purchased the car the previous year in September.
thanks

Timing belt replacement is "advised" at 60,000 mile service. The garage should have advised a replacement if there was no evidence of a previous replacement. But it is not a actual part of the service procedure
