1993 Opel Astra fuel supply

my opel seems to be getting to much fuel into th engine. all im smelling is fuel. the idle speed is normally at 1000rpm..now it drops to 500rpm every 2 seconds or so.. cant see any fuel leaks lookin at th engine. please help!! thanks!!

Possibilities here could be the injectors and fuel pressure regulator leaking and the charcoal canister saturated with fuel

check for vacuum leaks at carburettor !!
