My on-star and telephone will not come on when either button is depressed. Can you advise me on the location of the on-star/telephone unit?

Is the On-star light by the button red green or inoperable? that is the first thing I need to know? That way I can try to help you possibly free it from being logic locked.

I'd the light is red then there is a fault in the onstar system.If there was no light there might have been a logic lock situation.So you will Joe to get the onstar module scan for codes that will take a professional scan tool none of the diyer scan tools will do that.It night also take a professional scan tool to help diagnosis the problem.If you get the code Wright it down the exact. Code number not code descriptions and let me know what they are .
