1989 Oldsmobile Toronado Wont idle

1989 Oldsmobile Toronado

My Toronado will not idle and turns over erratic and sputters with the MAF plugged in. Once started it does run OK when the pedal is pushed. Will idle with the MAF unplugged. I am on my third MAF from the salvage yard and beginning to believe it may be more than the MAF. Any suggestions ? Thanks

Try cleaning out the idle air control valve and EGR valve and see what happens
