Lately, the transmission in my van has been starting out in high gear (3rd), and sometimes the ABS and TCS lights come on, and this seems to cause a problem with the transmission as well. Most times, if I shut the engine off and restart it, the transmission will start working correctly, but there are times when I have to shut it off and restart maybe 6 times to get it to start out in the correct gear. When the ABS/TCS lights come on the tranny doesn't go into overdrive. I just had the transmission system flushed, tranny fluid changed, and a new filter put on, but that hasn't seemed to help the problem. Any suggestions?

Hi
Problem in the TCM and/or valve body. Need a diagnostic scan done on trans to help find fault. Could bee as simple as a solenoid or speed sensor. Don't think it is a hard part failure.
Hope this helps
