1995 Oldsmobile Silhouette 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 160K miles

drove less then a mile after starting, engine dies, oil filter was loose and all the oil leaked out. replaced filter and oil. still wont start. a friend says it sounds like my engine locked up but that i might be able to free it by trying to turn the fly wheel? is this what it sounds like to you? and if yes what about turning the fly wheel?

If engine is locked up, then it would not rotate when you try to start.

Is this what is happening? Engine will not rotate?
