I was driving and my control panel gages shut down. I could not see how fast I was going or anything. I could still see my fule and miles gages, but my miles didnt change after it shut down. Then I notices once I stopped at a stop sign that my car had a hard time picking up steam. Then once it got past 35 it worked fine. I took it to a shop and they told me to junk it. Wasnt worth fixing! I love this car!!! I dont really want to junk it. I heard it just maybe the ECM. Is that costly and hard to replace or should I junk it?

Actually it sounds like a body control module. Have you had that checked? Also, when it didn't have much power pulling out, did it seem like it was starting in the wrong gear?
