1989 Oldsmobile Regency 6 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic

my turn signals stopped working, I have replaced the bulbs and fuses, where is the signal flasher located on this particular car. My manual does not show it.

i believe its clipped to the steering column brace on the right side of the steering column and has a blue and purple wire going to it.
