IM SORRY BUT U HAD ANSWER MY QUESTION B4 AND I HAD FORGOT MY PASSWORD OT GET IN. I SERIOUSLY NEED UR HELP. I HAVE A 84 DELTA 88 AND FOR SOME REASON THE CAR WILL NOT MOVE IF I PUT IT IN DRIVE, REVERSE, OR ANY OTHER GEAR. BUT IT WILL START RIGHT UP WITH NO PROBLEM. I BOUGHT THE CAR FROM AND FRIEND AND HE DIDNT DRIVE IT AND I DIDNT DRIVE AS SOON AS I BOUGHT IT SO IT HAS BEEN SITTING FOR ABOUT 8-9 MONTHS. IT HAS 89000 MILES ON IT. PLEASE TELL ME HOW CAN I FIX THIS BEACAUSE ITS GETTING TO COLD FOR ME TO WALK

First thing you need to check is how much transmission fluid is in the tranny, pull the dipstick out, it's towards the back of the enine to the passenger side. Nice and red and at or near the full mark? If thats OK you'll need to tow to tranny shop!
