Overheating problem

Have a 1994 Oldsmobile cutlass supreme. It has a 155,000 miles. The car was overheating. Gage is stuck wide open. Have replaced thermastat, heat sensor, waterpump, and serpentene belt, and new radiator cap. Gage is still stuck wide open and now heat only gets warm if you mash the gas. When not giving gas the heat is cold. Also water level continues to get low, can't find any visible leaks but can smell antifreeze sometimes.

What guage is stuck open? Do you mean thermostat? If so that wouldnt make it overheat, you problem could be the ignition timing is not set right, or you may have a plugged radiator, flush it out.
