97 Oldsmobile Regency V6 3.8L. Serpentine belt replacement.

My question is do I have to take off the motor mount and support in order to replace the belt or is there another way to install the new belt?

I don't believe you have to take the mount off this one, just remove the lower spacer. :Wink:

I just replced the belts on my 97 lss. I had to loosen the top support bolt beside the water pump pully and pry the engine over about 1/2 ". Then just slide the belt between the pully and the mount. I had to use a second person.
