I have a 2002 Olds Alero 6 cyl 3.4 L with 70,000 miles. For about 10 months now it has had no power. When I start out in the morning (if its cold outiside) It seems to drive pretty smooth until I stop at the first stop light. It takes several minutes to get my car even up to 10mph unless I lay on the gas and then it makes a high pitched screeching noise. I have changed the fuel filter, cleaned the EGR valve, changed the mass air flow sensor, plugs and plug wires, did a tune up on it, had the fuel injecter cleaner done on it, check the ignition coils and the pack...is there anything left...Please help...Im out of money and time.

Not sure how much I can help....

HAve you isolated the source of the noise?

Engine area?
Brakes?

IF not try to find the noise.

Will the engine rev up fine if the lack of power is present, but transmission is put into nuetral?

If it starts out when it is warm outside, are the symptoms present.
