2001 Other Oldsmobile Models Car is sputtering....

Car is a 2001 Oldsmobile Intrigue. Engine runs erratic and is missing on acceleration. Took it to the shop they couldn't find anything wrong and it ran perfectly for them, then on the way home it started to act up again for me? They said my transmission was fine, fuel filter was clean, fuel pump was fine. What exactly could this problem be?

most likely its a spark plug or plug wire. remove plug wires one at a time from the coil and look for corroded coil towers, this is a easy way to tell for sure. if you havent had plugs and wires replaced recently, start there.
