Everytime I turn on my air conditioning the compressor only runs for a few seconds at a time. I have checked the refrigerant level and that is good. Is there a sensor or switch that I can replace

I have the same problem with a 99 Bravada.
I am going to try to find the problem within the next week cause it's getting hot outside and my wife is really complaining. It's her car!
If I find the problem, I will let you know and I hope you will do the same.
