 I have a 1999 Oldsmobile 88 that shudders on the left side when I brake. My son looked at the brake shoes and they look ok. What could be the problem?

No, it does not pull to either side; but I feel the shudder on the left side when I brake.

it could be the caliper, but usually when it stickes the car pulls the opposite way while braking.
Maybe the rotor, racknpinion steering or a brokern rod.

sorry
